            LOCAL TO US

Our local village, Carsac, is just over a kilometer away. The village has all amentities ie: local supermarket, baker, butcher, post office, bar/cafe, and various restaurants. The village also has a popular Sunday morning market. 
The river is within walking distance of villa Quieta. The cycle path is adjacent to the property. Numerous canoe rental operators are found close by.

               CLOSE BY

The beautiful town of Sarlat is only 8 kilometers away. 
A short drive takes you to the chateaux of Beynac, Castelnaud, Les Millandes, Fenelon and numerous others.
The stunning Bastide village of Domme is within 15 minutes.
The list goes on. Local markets and seasonal fetes are frequent.
Excellent restaurants offering fantastic local cuisine are commomplace, and we'd only be too happy to pass on our recommendations.

A LITTLE FURTHER AFIELD

Within an hours drive you have the spectacular cliff side village of Rocamdour and all it has to offer.

Les Eyzies and Montignac, both famous for their fabled cave systems, are easily reached.

The vineyards of Bergerac and Cahors are definitely worthy of a visit.

The Vezere, Lot and Cele Valleys also offer breathtaking visits.

Additionally there are museums, cave networks, adventure parks and nature reserves.

One visit to the region just isn't enough!
